Ordinations Today
Joshua and Victoria Pringle and John Young (from Roscommon) are all due to be made deacons by our bishop, Rt Revd Dr Ferran Glenfield, at 4 pm in St John’s Cathedral. Please come and support them on this very special occasion.
Goodbye to the Interns
Today marks the end of the internship of Joshua and Victoria Pringle. We thank them very much for the time we have enjoyed with them in Calry. In the near future they will be moving to Riverstown. We wish them God’s richest blessings as they are made deacons this afternoon. And we pray for them and for Jennifer Bourke as they set out to South Africa from 4th – 12th July as part of the Diocesan team going with Crosslinks to an area near Capetown.

Tuesday Morning Rectory Fellowship Group
There is no Tuesday group this week. We will resume on 30th June.

Fancy a Walk?
David and Jennifer Bourke are planning on climbing Knocknarea on Wednesday 24th, barring torrential rain. It would be lovely if others could join them and at their home afterwards for a cuppa and a chat. Everyone from 0 to ninety welcome. Meet at the car park at 7.30 pm if you would like to join in the walk.

Shipwrecked Holiday Bible Club 30 June – 3 July
Sligo Presbyterian Church are holding a free holiday Bible club 5.30 – 7.30 pm from Tuesday 30 June to Friday 3 July for children of national school age. Scan the code or visit their FB page to register.

Are you aged 18-25 and interested in art or drama?

The Latest Prayer Requests from Kindu
Last week Archbishop Masimango sent this text asking for our prayers:

Pray for our Eastern Region, which is affected by the Ebola virus. May the community mobilize without fear to stop its rapid spread. Pray also for the preparations for the Kindu Diocese Teachers' Colloquium. We have invited more than 500 teachers from July 9th to 11th. The theme: Together for the Future of Education in the Diocese of Kindu. The last day will be dedicated to evangelization.
