The Latest News from Kindu
A full and interesting report on the teachers’ gathering in Kindu has just been sent to us. Please pray for the hundreds of teachers who attended as they travel home, for some of them a very long and arduous journey and that they will take to heart the theme of the conference: ‘Revitalizing close collaboration between school and church’.
Archbishop Masimango sent us this message also.
Nous vous souhaitons bon temps de refraishement spirituel avec Vin Nouveau.
Giving for Venezuela
Bishops’s Appeal is the Church of Ireland world relief and development department. A Prayer for Venezuela:
God of all compassion,
We hold before you the people of Venezuela.
The scale of the disaster is great and the pain is deep.
Be close to those who mourn,
and sustain those awaiting news of loved ones.
Strengthen and protect rescuers, medical teams and aid workers.
Help us to respond with generosity and compassion,
and to stand alongside those in need, now and in the months ahead.
Amen
