Any young person interested in being confirmed please make contact with the Rector.

The Scribe our Diocesan Magazine
If you receive the Scribe please make sure you give Yvonne Stuart your €20 for a year’s subscription. If you would like to start receiving it you are not too late to sign up.
Flower Rota
There are a few gaps on the flower rota for 2026. We really appreciate the contribution of those who enhance the church with floral displays. We don’t encourage buying expensive flowers but using as much as possible what can be grown locally. Please speak to Yvonne Stuart if you would like to help.

Parish and Diocesan Readers’ Day
Would you like to find out more about being a parish or diocesan Reader? There is a special event being held at the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-on-Shannon for existing and potential readers on Saturday 28 February from 10.30 am – 3.30 pm. This includes a complimentary lunch. If you would like to attend please let the Rector know.

Average Attendance
The Church of Ireland is taking figures from last year to keep track of the national and diocesan picture. Four Sundays were chosen (in February, June, Sept and November) to establish average attendance. The figures show that Calry’s average Sunday attendance for 2025 was 84.

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns,
and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Matthew 6.26-27
