During the service food donations for a Shalomar Hostel and the Sligo Food Bank will be taken up.

Many thanks to everyone who helped decorate Calry, cleaned and polished the place, prepared food for the Harvest Supper, donated food for local charities, and prepared music for this afternoon’s service.
Women’s Afternoon Tea Event
Spring to Life is holding a ladies’ afternoon tea gathering at Sligo Presbyterian Church on Saturday 11th October at 3 pm. Admission is free (donations welcomed). The speaker is Mary Bourke. Invite your friends!
Diocesan Synod
Next Saturday 11th October Diocesan Synod will be taking place at the Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon.
St John’s Hospital Harvest Thanksgiving
The Church of Ireland community in St John’s Hospital will be holding a service of Harvest Thanksgiving on Sunday 12th October at 3.00 pm. Do join us!
Mid-week Groups – two spearate groups the same evening starting Wednesday 15th October
Would you like to grow in your faith and get to know other people in church, have an opportunity to ask questions and listen to the experience of others? Starting on Wednesday 15th at 7.30 pm we are going to run ‘Practising the Way’ a discipleship course involving videos and discussion.
And… if you have already done the course, please join us the same evening to look at what follows… a series of four sessions on one of the Practices.
Wetsuits - Free to a good home!
Two small adult size wetsuits are being offered freely. Contact Eunjoo or Bushik if you are interested.
Inter church choir
Spring to Life plan to form an inter church choir to sing outside Sligo Methodist Church on the afternoon of 31st October at 3.00 pm. Adults and children are all invited. We plan to meet on Monday 27th October for a practice at 7.30 pm at Sligo Methodist. Any questions contact Joe Kennedy on 086 854 4235.
New Wine Worship
On the same day, Friday 31st October, a small New Wine team are coming to lead an open worship evening in Calry from 8.00 – 9.00 pm. All are welcome! It should be a special time of seeking God’s presence together.
The team will need bed and breakfast. Anyone able to offer accommodation for even one team member? There should be 3 or 4 in total.
Adult Crafting Group

Simply the Story
Bible telling workshop hosted by YWAM Sligo Saturday to Monday 25-27 October or Friday to Sunday 21-23 November at Sligo Methodist Church. There is a charge for the courses. To find out more take a leaflet at the back of church or email training@ywamsligo.com
