Calry Mission Conference Saturday 5 April
In collaboration with CMSI, YWAM, Youth for Christ and other parachurch organisations we are going to host a morning mission conference on Saturday 5 April in Calry. It will run from 10 am – 12.30 pm and will give a great opportunity to hear about what is going on in various parts of the world, as well as here in Ireland. It should be informative, inspiring and motivating. Please plan to come!
From Every Nation?
This is a handbook produced by the Irish Council of Churches on the subject of race in the Irish context.
In a culture that pushes us to accept an ‘us vs. them’ narrative, Jesus gives us the eyes of faith to see that we are all made in the image of God, where diversity is a gift to be enjoyed. This is the upside down kingdom where the foreigner can claim kingdom birthright as much as those who are native born. Therefore, we invite you to join with us on this journey: to recognise God’s active presence in the world, to align with God’s purposes for this world, and to generate hope for the Revelation vision of peoples, tongues and nations worshipping together. Join us as we lurch expectantly towards this new world vision aching to be born.
(From the introduction written by co-chairs Bishop Andrew Forster and Bishop Brendan Leahy.)
A webinar on the subject is taking place on Thursday 27th 8.00 – 9.00 pm. To register go to: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/webinar-anti-racist-work-in-church-of-ireland-dioceses-and-parishes-tickets-1244905538979

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.
And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
1 Corinthians 10.12-13
