From Open Doors
Prayer for Iran
Heavenly Father, we join with our brothers and sisters in Iran and in the region in calling for peace and
protection for the citizens of those countries. Please protect our church family to be salt and light in the midst of
crisis and may your kindness and mercy be powerfully present. Give wisdom and restraint to all decision-makers
and let hope love and freedom reign in Iran. Amen.
Prayer requests for other nations:
Afghanistan: the Taliban's latest penal code exerts even greater control over women, including
legitimising domestic violence
Iraq: pray for Iraqi believers and other citiizens who are also affected by the ongoing conflict
Nigeria: pray that the state visit of the Nigerian President to the UK will be an opportunity for lasting change
for our church family.

Faith Reignited – our Archdeaconry mission
God’s rule and reign to be established in the
world’s conflict zones
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you,
he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies
through his Spirit, who lives in you.
Romans 8.11
