Mothers’ Union
The Calry-St John’s Branch of the MU met in Calry on Wednesday evening for a service of Holy Commuion. It was a really special time. The MU is open to any women, whether married or not, who would like to join. It is a worldwide organisation that is responsible for some excellent work. To find out more speak to one of the Calry representatives: Hilda Latten, Margaret Henry, Marlene Horan. The MU prayer is:
Loving Lord, we thank you for your love so freely given to us all. We pray for families around the world. Bless the work of the Mothers’ Union as we seek to share your love through the encouragement, strengthening and support of marriage and family life. Empowered by your Spirit, may we be united in prayer and worship, and in love and service reach out as your hands across the world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for Peace in the Holy Land
SAT-7 were one of the participating organisations in the Calry Mission Conference held back in April. They are calling for Christians to pray for peace in the Holy Land especially this week. Here are some prayer points:
- An immediate ceasefire in Gaza, an end to violence across the Holy Land, and a meaningful peace process resulting in justice for all.
- For safe access to humanitarian aid, the provision of shelter, and for the release of hostages and detainees.
- Children and families whose lives have been devastated by this conflict: children who have become orphans; parents who have lost children; those suffering with injuries, deprivation and the effects of trauma.
- All those who have lost their homes, become displaced, or had to leave their homeland because of war in different parts of the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.
- For SAT-7 staff and partners in the region – for producers, presenters and guests – that they would know God's peace and wisdom and “not grow weary of doing what is right” (Gal 6:9).
