Prayer Update from Kindu, DRC
This came as a WhatsApp message from Archbishop Masimango on Saturday 14th:
- Pray for the various peace processes between the government and the rebels for a lasting peace.
- Pray for our clergy who live in isolated areas, deprived of any assistance for their survival, and for their children.
- Pray for my pastoral visit to the various parishes of the diocese. I will travel 1050 km by motorcycle without a petrol station.
- Pray that God will help us raise funds to cover the expenses of this important visit.
Sebastian Veirano
We are actively working towards a new SAMS intern joining us in the autumn. Sebastian Veirano worships in St Andrew’s church, Asunción in Paraguay and is hoping to join us in the new term. However, this all depends on his getting preclearance to work in Ireland as a religious volunteer. Please pray that if this is God’s best the door will open.
Ordinations Today
This afternoon in St John’s Longford Bishop Ferran will be ordaining three new deacons: Michael Kenning, Edward Lindsay and Gail McNeill. Please pray for them all.
Congratulations!
...to the Cosy Cats pre-schoolers who are ‘graduating’ from CC and will be moving onto big school in the Autumn.
