Spiritual Direction

Would you like the opportunity to have some free sessions with a trainee spiritual director?

Spiritual Direction is an ancient form of pastoral care that focuses on a person’s relationship with God in day-to-day life. It involves the director assisting, (or accompanying) the directee. What is being offered is 5 or 6 monthly sessions lasting about an hour each. To find out more speak to the Rector.

Additional Prayer Points:

  • Advent and Christmas would be effective for drawing many people to the Lord
  • those for whom this is a difficult time of year – the bereaved, the sick, the isolated and alone, those with family tensions or severe financial pressures
  • our friends in Kindu

…those the Lord has rescued will return.

They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads.

Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Isaiah 35.10
