Good News! Bishop Ken Clarke 17th April
Bishop Ken Clarke is the guest speaker at a special event hosted by the Church of Ireland Evangelical Fellowship (CIEF) in Calry on Friday 17th April at 7.30 pm. The theme is ‘What is the good news and why does it still matter today?’ It promises to be a memorable evening, open to all.

Faith Reignited 14-24 May
Plans are progressing for Calry’s part which looks like including an all age picnic and treasure hunt on Sunday 17th May and a men’s event at Bertie’s Pitch and Put on Saturday 23rd. In addition, there are evening meetings planned throughout the period. See details in the May Scribe and on social media in the coming weeks.

Congratulations!
Walter and Hilda Latten recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. They were married on Saturday 3 April 1976 in Aghanagh Church.

Peter and Rachel Sagar (née Marsden) on the safe arrival of a baby girl on Thursday 9th April; a second grandchild for Guy and Tessa.

Joshua Tejas was part of the winning team from CIC Summerhill at the recent IMTA (Irish Maths Teachers’ Association) Regional Pi Day competition.
