This evening Sligo Presbyterian Church are hosting a time of prayer & reflection for Ukraine from 6 – 6.45 pm.

The Church of Ireland has circulated some prayers that you may choose to use. They can be found here: https://www.ireland.anglican.org/news/11206/prayers-in-a-time-of

Bishop’s Appeal (C of I world aid and development fund) has launched an emergency appeal to raise funds to assist in the care of Ukraine.  They are partnering with Habitat for Humanity and Christian Aid Ireland who are working on the ground in the neighbouring countries’ refugee camps.

The appeal is for funds which the local responders on the ground can direct to the greatest areas of need and which can be sourced locally in these countries.  The action of the Church of Ireland through our prayers and action will make a difference to all who are devastated by this futile war on the innocent.

You can send an online donation to www.bishopsappeal.ireland.anglican.org/give

Or you can send a cheque, payable to Church of Ireland Bishops’ Appeal, to: Church of Ireland Bishops’ Appeal, Church of Ireland House, Church Avenue, Rathmines, Dublin 6, D06 CF67;
