Calry is a community-minded Church of Ireland church of all ages on a God-given journey. To help us we have the compass of God’s word the Bible, the companionship of the Lord Jesus and the comfort and conviction of the Holy Spirit to give us what we need when we need it.

We are very glad of our partnership in the gospel with other churches in the Sligo area, both Church of Ireland and of other denominations. If you’re not actively involved in a church community or have recently moved to Sligo we’d love you to join us – whatever your colour, age or background.

Our main weekly meeting is on a Sunday morning, but we also meet in smaller groups at other times in the week. We gather so as to worship God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to be taught from his word, empowered by his Spirit, to pray and to build open and honest friendships with each other so that we can make a difference in the wider world – locally, nationally and further afield still.

Calry is part of the united dioceses of Kilmore, Elphin & Ardagh. The Bishop is Rt Revd Dr Ferran Glenfield. The Rector of Calry is Canon Patrick Bamber. He is married to Pippa and they have three boys Gus, Ambrose and Bertie and a daughter Myrtle. The Church Warden is Temitope Ososanya and the Glebe Wardens are Jim Shannon and David Henry.
