Re-opening of Churches

We will be following the routine we used between July and October with the one difference that sadly no live-singing or playing of wind instruments is permitted.

  1. Respect social distancing and unless you belong to the same household sit 2 metres apart from others.
  2. Use hand-sanitizer as you enter.
  3. Follow the welcome team’s instructions which will involve their noting your name for contact tracing.
  4. Everyone over 12 in the congregation should wear a mask (unless speaking or reading).
  5. If it is necessary to use the gallery those sitting upstairs must use a separate entrance and exit.
  6. Please avoid congregating by the doors.

If you don’t have internet access and can’t come to church…

Please don’t feel left out! If you don’t have internet access there is a phone number you can call to pick up the diocesan service for the week. It costs only the same as a local rate call. Dial 048 912 43 912 anytime.

Sunday School Nativity Update

As usual there are activity sheets today sent out by email to parents.

Next Sunday (13th) afternoon from 2.30 – 4.30 pm we will be filming children acting their parts in this year’s nativity play. This will then be shown, God willing, on Sunday 20th at 6.00 pm. Parents, if you want your children involved look out for information on email and ensure they come to the church at the right time. Also, you will need to sign a form on 13th giving permission for them to be filmed in the play. Please get in touch if your children can’t attend but still want to be involved.

Scribe

You should find your December issue of The Scribe in church today. The Scribe is our diocesan magazine. A year’s supply only costs €20. Yvonne Stuart is taking orders now for next year. Why not have a word with her?
