Last Sunday was the launch of the Parish Generous Giving Programme. Today the theme is Generosity in Giving. There is a Generous Giving information leaflet for every household and a response form also. Do please complete and return these before 10th October. Use the envelope provided and when ready drop into the offering boxes at the back of church or give to Margaret Henry or David Bourke.
Children and Leaders
Open-air Sunday School is set to resume next week at the usual time.
For anyone existing or new leaders you must carry out training in the Church of Ireland Child Protection policy Safeguarding Trust at least every three years. The next session takes place online this Thursday 23rd at 8.00 pm. Contact the Diocesan Youth and Children’s Coordinator Damian Shorten if you want to register at: d.shorten@dkea.ie
Youth Group
We are meeting at the earlier time of 7.00 pm this evening for football in Fort Hill if it’s dry, or in the church if it’s wet. Parents: Registration forms are required to be filled in for any under 18s. Please ask for one if you haven’t done so yet.
The Daily Office
This has moved to the later time of 10.30 am on both Tuesday and Thursday. Come in person or watch online.
Saturdays Inter-Church Prayer

Ordained Local Ministers
Last Sunday three ordinands were made deacons by Bishop Ferran in St John’s Cathedral – John Addy, Adam Norris and Xanthe Pratt. This afternoon Albert Dawson, Steve Frost, Ed Smyth and Malcolm Young are to be priested by Bishop Ferran in St George’s Carrick-on-Shannon.

…to Walter and Hilda Latten for their latest grandchild, Jake Alfie, born to Mark and Lauren on Monday 13th September.
Also to Saeedi Tumuheirwe for his part in the success of the Sligo Minors Football team in winning the Connacht Cup in August. The first time such a feat has been achieved for 53 years!
