Kindu Updates
Thank you so much those of you who are praying for us. We are very thankful to have got nearly all vaccinations done. Next hurdle will be visas. Bishop Masimango has told us a diocesan youth leaders gathering will be held when we are there which he wants us to contribute to. Please pray.
On the longest day of the year Wednesday 21st June Gus and Patrick are going to attempt to walk as much of the 80 km Sligo Way as possible in a day. This is to raise money for the forthcoming trip to Kindu in DR Congo with CMS.
How can you help?
- why not plan to join them for a section of the walk?
- or you could provide food and drink at some prearranged point along the way
- please sponsor them using cash or by going to : idonate.ie/CalryKinduTeam
Thank You
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to last week’s parish picnic. It was a really happy occasion. Many of you went to a lot of trouble providing food, and helping with setting up and the clear-up afterwards. We were blessed with the weather. And there was the very pleasant surprise of being joined by the McCoy Family – Mike, Margie, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Andrew and Benjamin.
Youth Trip to Church Island

Accommodation for New Wine

For Prayer:
- the sick
- Shane Murrin in Syria
- Kindu Team – visas
- families devastated by the attack on a school in western Uganda
- that the Lord would take the worst in war-torn situations and redeem them by his power
At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking,
but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
Matthew 10.19-20
