Interested in Confirmation?
For anyone who would be interested in finding out about confirmation please get in touch with Patrick in the next week. (This does not include those young people already preparing.) Young people need to be in at least 2nd year, but this is also for adults. Confirmation is an opportunity to publicly declare your commitment to Christ and his Church and to receive prayer that God would strengthen and confirm you by his Holy Spirit.
Youth Games Night

Shrove Tuesday Virtual Pancake Party at 7.30 pm
Why not share the love on Tuesday? Get yourself onto Zoom, make and eat your pancakes with members of your church family. Put your apron on and get in some extra sugar and lemon. And if you’d like a new recipe why not try this from Phil the cook for Cosy Cats:
This recipe makes approx 12 pancakes.
140gms / 5oz plain flour
200ml / 7fl oz milk
50gms / 2 oz butter melted
- To make the batter tip the flour into a bowl, add the eggs, gradually add the milk, and carry on beating
until the mix is completely lump free.
- Now whisk in the melted butter.
When pancakes are ready, enjoy Shrove Tuesday!
Half an hour of prayer and Scripture on Tuesday and Thursday at 9.30 am on www.facebook.com/calryparishchurch/

Lent Series – Operation Transformation
Have you ever wondered what it would take for you to be not thinner but holier, spiritually stronger, more intentional in your Christian life? Over the six Sundays of Lent we are going to tackle a series on a Rule of Life. Each Sunday we will explore a different aspect of Christian discipleship and these will then be developed further on Wednesday evenings. Lent is an important time of the year for prioritizing the most important things of life. Let’s make this Lent a memorable one!

Co Sligo Church of Ireland Family Fund
This is the new name for the County Sligo Protestant Orphans Society. The organisation exists to distribute financial support to Church of Ireland families in our community with children below the age of 18. Over the years Calry parishioners have been very generous in providing support. If you are in a position to give we would really appreciate it. Hilda Latten is the Parish representative. Please send your donation to her at: Teesan, Sligo.
Congratulations to Margaret on her recent retirement after 50 years of paid employment. We wish you every blessing in this new phase of your life.
Margaret hasn’t retired from her work as Hon Parish Treasurer. And in fact, if you need to contact her about any aspect of giving to Calry you can now email her by using email@example.com or phone in the usual way.
Please pray about the legislation coming before the Oireachtas Committee on Justice and Equality for the second time in the near future.
If you don’t have internet access and can’t come to church…
